Have a browse through my work to get an idea of the things I’ve done recently (though if you’ve got something different in the pipeline, don’t let that put you off, go for it!), but here’s a very brief list to get you started:

For business – logos // web design // leaflets // posters // business cards // stickers // layouts // social media graphics (i.e. making your Facebook header look awesomesauce) // illustrated maps…

Private commissions – wedding & party invitations, menus, info sheets // wedding monograms // original illustrations or prints for birthday & wedding presents…

Prices are worked out on a project by project basis, we would have a chat, decide on a creative brief and agree on a price from there. I always include two rounds of edits in my quotes, plus a last minute tweak (if you find a typo just before we go to print!). Any more involved edits (over 1hr) or edits which differ from the brief are absolutely fine, but I charge them pro rata at my hourly rate. Be aware that if you’re planning to expand the use of the artwork to merchandise, branding, labelling etc we might need to have another chat and agree on a licence, which could involve a yearly charge or might just be an agreement to limit the use of the artwork.

Usually the more complex the illustration and the more text on the page, the higher the price – you can imagine, the thinking planning and drawing time is longer, plus edits take longer if there are more elements to shift about.

If you contact me with an idea, I’ll probably ask you to start thinking about a few things – it’s ok if you’re not sure at first, but if you can decide early, it saves time and money later in the project. They are:

Output –  print //web // original drawing // both, or all three!.

Size – A4 // A5 // postcard // banner etc…

Orientation – landscape // portrait

Colour – black & white // greyscale // 2 colour // 3 colour etc…

Timescales – final print deadline // first draft // editing etc…

That’s about it, I’m looking forward to hearing about all your fab ideas 🙂
